Hyperthreading on or off?

Keep it on, shouldn't make a difference. I mean, you can test if you want to see if it helps but I highly doubt it will.

 

Best thing you can do with your setup is put DCS on an SSD and have at least 16 GB of system RAM.

Keep it on. DCS will not care but Windows will.

Tested it after I read that thread, all I can say is wow! it worked well for me.:)

 

I have intel i7 3770, I turned off multi threading and set turbo boost enabled.

stutters are not notable now as before and gained more fps.:thumbup:

 

is there any recommended affinity mask value for Dcs?

I have had HT turned off due to overclocking my CPU for sake of stability and lower temps. My annecdotal evidence is that DCS has ran better with HT off withe the CPU running at same clock speeds on vs off HT.

 

I only switch it on in BIOS when working with my photography software which benefits from HT.
