[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

SimShaker stopped working for me today after the update. It does not have a connection to DSC. Testing Vibe-Motors works fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Same here... iff i am in dcs normaly i can select a plane in simshaker... but now there are no planes to select, my selection is emty

Mine also didn't work after the latest update today..beta. But I had to alt tab out of dcs in VR and then open simshaker and selected start simshaker on the interface. Usually it starts automatically once dcs is on.

После перезапуска компьютера ярлык утратил иконку (сменилась на системную), приложение также не работает. Запускается проверка обновления и потом окно с ошибкой. Обновление прошло, файлы загрузились и установились как я понимаю. Ибо теперь не работает ничего.

 

В свойствах ярлыка:

У этой программы нет экзешника?

Может поломалась поддержка Win7?

Попытался удалить программку, а там вылезло окно где уже выбран пункт "восстановить предыдущую версию". Попробовал восстановить и вылезло сообщение что это невозможно. После этого восстановилась иконка на ярлыке и приложение запустилось. Но я теперь буду боятся обновляться.

Да, восстановление обычно так и происходит. Сначала говорит что невозможно, но при этом откатывается и работает на прежней версии нормально.

Экзешник есть, его найти не очень просто, но вполне возможно, я поэтому и спрашивал про обновление.

Бояться особо не надо, практически все проблемы решаемы - так или иначе.

В данном случае, я думаю, переустановка программы вероятно могла помочь.

Beside the integration of the Tomcat, this release also includes experimental support for the ForceFeel seat from Realtus.

The ForceFeel support/seat might have some serious issues like not stopping effects, delayed effects or other wired behaviours.

Any feedback is appreciated!

It’s still work in progress, so, if you like to have a working system, I highly advise you to get a Gametrix Jetseat from Andre!

 

If everything goes well I'm going to release the stable version on this weekend!

Wow thank you verry mutch... i was really hoping to have direct support for the tomcat, every new plane i tested wihout jetseat and i really mis it that time...

 

Knowing now the tomcat will have direct support for the jetseat makes me so happy :D

Hi f410 and any one else with a ForceFeel.

 

I have spotted a problem with the beta build 1.3.6.

 

I was getting error messages on starting DCS saying ForceFeelEffects/click.uwv (and many others) couldn't be found.

 

I fixed this by:

 

1) I alt+tab'ed to the SSA application

2) Clicked on 'Service' then 'SSA folder' to find the install.

3) Opened 'Data' folder

4) Copied folder 'ibaVibroEffects' (where such files appear to be located)

5) Pasted the copy into 'Data' folder.

6) Renamed 'ibaVibroEffects' to 'ForceFeelEffects'

 

This has had the impact of changing the seat handler 'status' of my seat to 'ok’ however it is entirely possible that these effects are the ‘wrong ones’

 

I'm about to go for my first flight :-) will update soon how it was :-)

I have the Force Feel set up and connected to SSAbeta 1.3.6.0 and I can see effects playing from the log in SSA, e.g.

However all I am feeling is the front two transducers on the seat giving a constant low rumble (Motors 1 and 2 in the ForceFeel Control Center). This rumble seems irrelevant of action, and indeed I feel it in the menus. All 8 motors work in the ForceFeel control center test mode.

 

I have to finish for tonight but will check back in in the morning UK time to see if there's any suggestions. My assumption is the Uwv files I copied to create the ForceFeelEffects folder/files need to be different for the Forcefeel than the Jetseat - hence no vibration.

Anybody has any info on what could be causing this and how I may resolve it? I saw Arctander's earlier post about renaming the copy of ibaVibroEffects to ForceFeelEffects but that did not fix it.
