Nose fuses, tail fuses, N/T fuses, why does it matter? What is each selection going to do differently?

Nose = detonates on contact

Tail = slight delay (tens of milliseconds) to allow for penetration, good for taking out underground targets.

Nose + tail = no idea.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

tail nose/tail are fuses you need to be set to activate the drag chute on mk82air

In DCS is makes no difference at all, aside from the way Mk-82AIRs are implemented.

In reality, there are various types of fuse that can be fitted to weapons. Fuses can operate instantaneously on impact, with varying time delays, or within a set proximity to the ground (airburst). It's common to have different fuse types/settings in the front and rear positions on bombs to allow the pilot more weapon effects options.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.
