  4. 3rd generation airraft are the most challenging and rewarding IMO. You have electronic, but still it's all about the man above the machine. F-5, Mig21, Viggen are a blast

  7. Excactly there. Between 180 and 200. But I tried with same average success with both lower and higher speed I never had my nose go up at that speed
  8. Most of the time as I take off, my tyres burst. I can't find the correct speed for rotating. Sometimes they burst because (I am assuming) I am going too fast, other times (assuming again) I rotate too early and there's too much weight on rear wheels. Any suggestions?

  12. I can help you with 1 and 5 1. Check axis sensitivity, I believe they are set by default at 15. When I set them to zero it toatally changed and I can even air to air refuel 5. Always stay as high as possible. Cruising at 30k vastly improves your range although you always want ext fuel tanks
  13. After firing a Rb05, it is visible for few seconds. Then the flare goes off and it is not visible anymore, making it useless
  14. Years ago I remember I saw a tutorial about starting the EO countdown after passing a waypoint. Or something like that :) I can't find that tutorial and I can't find anything on the manual, does anyone know the procedure?

  16. Sometimes when I fire rockets (mostly on long range) impact area is drifted. QFE is correct, it's just the impact shifted left or right. I believe it is due to wind, however it -should- be automatically compensated by the doppler. I tried then adding wing direction in the computer while inflight (readout for example is 09018-) but still no success. Even trying inputing the wind direction from the briefing itseld anf its opposite. What is causing rockets to drift then?
  17. are you aiming at the basement of the building? Aiming at the "wall" will make tgp give the coordinates of the ground behind the building
  18. So after few tries, I found QFE is the key to solve this issue: High Drag Bombs add +3 QFE Low Drag Bombs substract -3 QFE With these parameters I never miss a hit
  19. My bombs always fall short for about one "salvo distance" with impact interval selector set to 15. QFE is properly set, no ternav errors and no wind. It appears I can get some good result if flying 150m (radar altimeter readout), M0.85 and aiming with the dot rather then between the dot and circle. But still it barely hits the target with the last bomb. Similarly, I had the same issue with low drag bombs in DYK mode, however inputing 221000 solved the issue (although I thought it should be set by default). Anyone knows what I am doing wrong?
  20. After steer point 4, there is a sam or IR missile shooting at you, even if you stay right on the flight plan. Is there a way to skip fam flight?
  21. Hi all, I am learning this module but there are some things I really can't make it work. I try to make it as short as possible as I have a lot of questions 1 - Pop up point not working. I input B1 and B2, set M2 from B2, enter hdg and distance (km) TO M2 (setting Takt IN on the panel). Pressing B2 shows me both M2 and U2, but after passing B1 it takes me straight to M2 2 - Altitude reference. Pressing the button I can visually see it is set on the HUD, but sometimes it just "resets" as soon as I unpress the button 3 - Terrain Avoidance mode. Which keybinding is that? There are two named similarly 4 - After landing i switch to BER for rearming and NAV again when I am ready. However hud feels.. wrong. VVI is shifted to a side 5 - Radar elevation. Occasionally I can see there is a reference above the radar, but most of the time there is no indication at all. How do you make it work? Also there are several aspects of radar bombing I can't figure out a - no crosshair. I set BOMB RR, ANF, radar mode either in A1 or A2. I don't get the crosshair in the radar scope b - above a certain altitude, bombs are dropped as soon as I press the trigger, while under a certain altitude I keep release button pressed and it drops.. too early c - as above, bombs are released a couple of km too early if I keep the button depressed. QFE is set for the target, and target position is updated using the radar d - using the HUD as reference, which is the correct indication for release? I found 1 second after the distance line flashes gives me the best result, but I am sure I am doing it wrong
