how hard would it be to add smart munitions to dcs ca now

like the copperhead artillery shell or the hydra missile?

 

i was thinking if a target was being lasered either by an airborne unit or a ground unit

the shells drop square would seriously decrease to real life error margins

i think for the copperhead it was 5 meters

Interesting question, but really 'smart' weapons don't need passive target illumination: They'll find their targets by themselves. ;)

yes but i was trying to stay within the units available in DCS time period

so they have the T90 which came in service in 1993

the copperhead was used in desert storm

so that would be 1990-1991 2 years before the T90

ideally i would have all the goody,s
