Nefarus Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Hi i have one question. In SU-27 campaign is only one mission where you take off and fly over waypoints and land. Is there only this one mission or does it continue?
razo+r Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 It will continue if you successfully completet the first mission
Nefarus Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 Ok thanks. So what i did wrong ? It said when you will land you will get next instructions but when i lannded nothing happened.
DarkFire Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 You often have to precisely fly over all the waypoints in a mission to achieve mission success. Might be the problem you had with your mission. ShuRugal Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 at each waypoint in the fam-flight mission, you should hear your "wingman" talking to you, including instructions on when to RTB and land. If you don't you missed one.
AnkH_82 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I have a similar issue with the Su 27 campaign. Now I just "finished" the third time in a row mission three (you have to escort some Su 25 and fight against F-16). Each time, I successfully eliminate all threads, the Su 25 start bombing, they report hits and then thats it. The Su 25 return home, I return home and nothing else happens. If I finish like this, the next mission is again the same. What goes wrong? What do I need to do to successfully finish mission 3 instead of shooting down all three F-16, escorting the Su 25 for their bombing and returning home? Strange...

feefifofum Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 As I recall this one is kind of weird and requires both you and the Frogfoots to leave the AO together. Once they get close to their home field you should get the message to RTB. Fair warning, been a long time since I played this so something could simply be broken now. :) THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC

The mission is only successful if the Su-25s destroy all their targets. Sometimes when threatened by the F-16s they stop the attack, jettison the weapons and run home. You need to make sure to keep the F-16s far away from them. See also this thread for some bug fixes and updates to the campaign: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=122981
MadDog-IC Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 (edited) I have a similar issue with the Su 27 campaign. This is actually Su-27 Fortress Mozdok - mission 2.5, and you seem to be doing it correctly, in the spoiler I explain. I re-tested with the AI flying all aircraft and mission still gives 80% after taking out the F-16's and a full 100% after the Su-25's rocket the arty. So it may that the campaign system it self is faulty and not the individual mission, it has been mentioned that other campaigns aren't advancing after completion of missions with a result of 51 or more. ie in the mission above you should advance to the next mission on exit if you only killed the F-16's which would give you a 80% result in the after battle stats screen, for a perfect record of 100% the Su25's have to take out all the arty and MRLS as well. Either way the only way to lose and have to replay the same mission, is to do nothing that is asked of you in the briefing. Regards, Ian. AnkH_82 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Well, again an issue, this time with the Su-33 mission 3. I shoot down what I can, but so far each time I ran this mission (about 5 times already...), one of those F-14 somehow is buggy, it floats about 2m above sea level some 4nm away from the vessel and is indestroyable. All other planes are eliminated, the Su-25 destroyed all ground targets and yet the mission is a failure. Why?
WildBillKelsoe Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 follow the waypoints at specified altitudes and speeds, keeping ball to the cross, and make sure to set your altimeter to 760 with Rshift+equal or minus to be on standard altimeter setting and not airfield setting. if you want to know if you passed the mission, press ' and look at middle column. results should have 100 next to it. be careful around mountains and never drop HUD visor in those regions. MadDog-IC Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Well, again an issue, this time with the Su-33 mission 3. All other planes are eliminated, the Su-25 destroyed all ground targets and yet the mission is a failure. Why? I take it you are talking about the Su-33 Heavy sky campaign Mission 3 - First Battle. If so this question should be in a new thread. This particular campaign and the Su-25 Cold war Warrior have not been upgraded in any of the release versions of DCS 1.5x. Yes that is a bug, It happens with the russian ai planes on the Kuznetzov carrier also, don't know the cause but probably due to what angle or direction the boat is heading in when the plane lands on it, it will sometimes cause the boat to continue moving as it should but the plane itself stays in the same time space grid position it first landed at on the carrier. I have done the first 10 missions approx in the Su-33 Heavy Sky campaign, but have had writers block on how best to change the missions, combined with some ill health on my part and the state of dcs 1.5x when it comes to running a mission more than twice in a row, it always stops responding and has to be forcibly shut down and restarted all the time. This is such a problem I actually re-edit with the older more stable dcs v1.216 until it works and then convert onto dcs v1.54 and retest for new introduced bugs there. This is one big campaign and is relatively poorly written (IMHO) and the briefings misleading, something I am trying to improve, but have lost my way a bit. But regarding mission 3: Can't remember if the original mission was able to be completed successfully (I think it was ok). The whole mission is about you killing all the F-14s and successfully landing back at base for a mission completed 100%. You will get 50% for starting mission, 30% for killing the F-14 fighter group and 100% when you land at your airbase. All the missions in that whole campaign require you to land back at base to be fully successful. Find attached the first fixed 6 missions: Regards, Ian.
