sc_neo Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Hey, i am interested in the Gazelle and would like to read a bit in the Polychop manual for that module before i decide whether to get it or not. I didn't find anything on the forums (Chuck's excellent guide of course). Anyplace to download it?
Meiz Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 The information for all the different versions of the Gazelle + Nadir + Mulicrew is spread out over something like 5 different manuals. You can view the main manual that has the most information on steam. It takes a minute to load though so be patient. http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/411910/manuals/DCS_SA342M_Flight_manual_rev07_en.pdf?t=1478808101 .
Ramsay Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 (edited) Steam hosts copies of the older manuals on their Gazelle DLC page Main : DCS_SA342M_Flight_manual_rev07_en.pdf http://store.steampowered.com/manual/411910 and NADIR manual : DCS_SA342M_Gazelle_NADIR_Manual_rev04_en.pdf http://store.steampowered.com/quickref/411910 You should note: there are also 3 addendum .pdf covering multi-crew, the Mistral and the SA-342L, as well as OPERATION DIXMUDE_en.pdf, which describes the events that lead up to the SP campaign and includes detailed briefings and maps for each mission. sc_neo Posted November 13, 2016 Author Posted November 13, 2016 thx a lot guys. This gives me more than enough to take a good look at this module. Actually, my brother and i are thinking about getting it. Since they added multicrew in august, this has become a very interesting aircraft.
WildBillKelsoe Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 its awesome you should get it. I like that I'm not the only one here who sniffs fresh modules through manuals to come to inner peace about buying. Mt5_Roie Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 My wife goes crazy when I decide to buy thing because I tend to research them to death. When I was looking to buy a car, I made a highly detailed matrix of features I was looking for. I then found cars that had as many of those features as possible. Then I went and downloaded the manuals for those cars - read them multiple times. I was able to narrow it down to three vehicles and those are the ones I test drove. I pretty much knew more about the electronics in the car then the dealer did. its awesome you should get it. Mt5_Roie Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I got the 2013 Ford Focus Titanium version. I got it fully loaded except for the navigation package. I couldn't see spending 800 dollars on a package I have to pay to update every so often when I have a iPhone with Waze on it. During the winter months, I especially appreciate the seat warmers. poly-roie ...so drop the other shoe please and tell us what was the car you got !!!!???? Coder - Oculus Rift Guy - Court Jester
