  1. The third link he posted had a reply about multiplayer multi crew.. The programmer quit, task was assigned to a new programmer but as a low priority :(.
  2. +1. Went to buy a module for a friend but apart from the F-14 there is no buy button at all on the other modules for us Australians :(.
  3. Hi shdwp. I just wanted to say thank you for your work on this. Very cool program already with lots of potential. Excited to watch and see it evolve.
  4. As i understand it, so i'm not putting words in Razbams mouth but the tutorial missions will be added as features in the aircraft are finished and finalized. So that the missions can be made once properly, instead of being constantly worked on. This is the collection of things i use for now that you or someone else might find useful A bit of information about the training missions that are planned, 3 are actually also now available to download https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=197787. There is Chuck's AV-8B Harrier II Guide http://www.mudspike.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/DCS-AV-8B-Harrier-Guide.pdf. Chuck has a great selection of easy to read guides for many aircraft http://www.mudspike.com/chucks-guides/. There is the Razbam pocket guide https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=193603 Redkite has a great set of tutorial videos for the F/A-18 and Harrier. Here is the harrier playlist . FlightSimFan .
  5. Love what I've seen so far from some small scale testing. I appreciate your work on it. Anyway i have a small query. When i try to request an AI CAS or CAP flight from the F10 menu it spawns 4 aircraft. 1 just off the runway, 3 in parking. 2 of the aircraft in parking taxi to behind the 1 that spawns near the runway but the 4th stays at parking. The 3 of them just end up sitting there just off the runway and nothing else happens. Am i doing something wrong? Am i being impatient? Is it a DCS bug? Is it a mission bug? EDIT: MP version. Any AI flight from the F10 menu, doesn't matter type.
  6. Huey or MI-8 would be great buys. I love the MI-8 more but I would personally say the huey as a first. It's more difficult to fly than the MI-8 but the systems are more simple and the cockpit makes more sense (has a cleaner layout), it's also easier to start and use the weapons. Both are fantastic modules, easily some of the best in the sim. Might also be good to send them Chucks guides for the Huey and MI-8, they can see some of the deeper details of each in an easy to understand format.
  7. +1. Must be an ED issue. Had no problem updating to latest version and played quite a bit yesterday but i just tried to play now and got the same error message and none of my modules will work..
  8. Great update as usual. Just wanted to say thank you for including 2 campaigns while some other teams are moving towards DLC ones only.
  9. If you hold down Right Control + Right Shift at the same time and then press Numpad 4 or 6 you can slide the camera left or right which will expose the hidden buttons. Just press Numpad 5 to reset view again.
  10. 1.5.8 Yes, 2.5 dropped today though, will be interesting to see if this still works. That confused me a little too... Just type "pip install requests" into the command prompt after you have installed Python. Didn't seem to matter which directory i was in.
  11. Looks awesome guys. Keen to try it out. Will this end up in the regular rotation or is it more for occasional events?
  12. From memory the following 2 mini coop campaigns aren't too complicated and a buddy and I found them to be pretty enjoyable. Will give you 10 missions total. Operation Save Badger Operation Jackel This mission is a little more difficult due to a faster pace but gives a lot of low alt gun and rocket action :joystick: . Fob Vetka
  13. This popped up too. http://store.steampowered.com/app/411891/DCS_NEVADA_Test_and_Training_Range_Map/
  14. After the long wait, what a horrible week for my GPU to die . Another 2-4 weeks for repairs + 1 week postage either side to wait .
  15. Meiz

  16. 1.5.5.6 (1.5.5.60565.216) is the latest stable version. Open beta should be 1.5.6.1340.230. Hard to say what's wrong with such limited information. Edit: Have you tried forcing an update with the windows command prompt? Sometimes when i can't get DCS to update when i open the sim forcing it with command prompt finds the update.... 1: To do that go to your Bin folder. For me that's "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin" . It's just DCS World rather than DCS World Open Beta for me because i converted my stable to beta rather than having 2 installs. 2: In the Bin folder hold Left Shift and press the right mouse button, in the menu that comes up choose 'Open Command Window Here". 3. In the command window type "DCS_updater.exe update" and press enter, it will search for updates and hopefully find them... No promises but it usually fixes my updates problems... If you have Open Beta installed it should be able to see it when doing that.
  17. The patch notes and weekend news are usually posted 12 hours from now (so at around 3pm gmt time) the actual patch usually follows a few hours after that.
  18. Thank you for the answer Blackwolf. Thank you too Nero, I'm definitely adding this to my mod list.
  19. This. Viggen on Beta branch, only really impacts the Viggen owners that wanted it on release day and don't know how to switch their stable branch to beta. A bad DCS patch pushed to stable branch impacts everyone. It being the first patch for a while means there could be many more changes and additions to other modules and DCS world too. I'm sure we've all experienced some of the bad patches last year that broke some things that were quite annoying.
  20. Awesome mod idea. I'm not sure if this would impact it but will this trigger an integrity check failure in MP?
  21. I haven't tried Mustang's due to having to sign up to the 104th website to download it. I've tried the Starway and Barthek packs and feel like they both shine in different areas. To me Barthek's is much better down low, they just look sharper and a cleaner, Starway's look too blurred down low and at times just messy. Starways look much better up high, more detail, while Barthek's look a little plain up high. Obviously Starway's trees and buildings are also very nice. To sum up, if I'm flying helicopters or in planes but down low i prefer Barthek's, if I'm flying high i prefer Starway's. Edit: I used some words like messy and plain but I'm not trying to be insulting towards either of their work. Both are excellent mods, as i said they just shine in different ways.
  22. Congratulations Leatherneck! I can't wait to try out your Viggen . It's on the list that's displayed at the top of the forums here now.
  23. +1, if anyone could could mention which files in particular are needed from Upuaut it would be greatly appreciated!
  24. The information for all the different versions of the Gazelle + Nadir + Mulicrew is spread out over something like 5 different manuals. You can view the main manual that has the most information on steam. It takes a minute to load though so be patient. http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/411910/manuals/DCS_SA342M_Flight_manual_rev07_en.pdf?t=1478808101 .
