Pilotasso Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Perhaps it would be better and more effective to post a poll with all possible resolutions from 1024x768 and up. .

yamangman Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 ... and my **** is thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big!
yamangman Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Out of the things the TCO standard certifies for displays, it does not cover refresh rates or the the 'technicalities' of the display. Think ergonomics, energy and emissions with TCO. It's a 17" screen with only TCO99 compliance. It'd burn out.
Pilotasso Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 ... and my cock is thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big! On widescreen it will look like spagetti thin. .
TucksonSonny Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I have a question: The Dell 30” 3007WFP requires a DVI dual-link graphics card that supports 2560x1600 resolution. I was wondering if there is already someone running lomac in this config? Just out of curiosity :D (I am in the middle of a new home construction and there is no way that I can afford this within 2 year from now anyway) The good news is that my old 6800Ultra has a dual DVI dual link but I am not sure of the max res. (On my old 10 year old Philips CRT of 21” I was capable of 2000x1500 ) DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |

If you look at the side of the cards box youll see that the max res is something probably not possible with any sanely affordable monitor. If you dont have any indication of that just open your GFX properties from the desktop, click settings\advanced\monitor, and uncheck "hide modes this monitor cannot display" and then swich over to "adapter" tab and click "list all modes" Scroll down to see wich is the max theorical res of your card. Mine is 2048x1536, but then its an old card. .
Guest IguanaKing Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I resolve to no longer let my life be ruled by conventional wisdom. Oh wait...I guess he wasn't referring to THAT kind of resolution. :D

Some of us are on a students' paycheck bracket and can't afford anything newer, you know. :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Real men fly ground attack :pilotfly: where EVERYTHING wants a piece of you :D
