OttoPus Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 I don't think this is a bug, it's more like a (an ancient) rendering technique for the clouds.
Terzi Posted November 26, 2016 Author Posted November 26, 2016 I don't think this is a bug, it's more like a (an ancient) rendering technique for the clouds. But if the clouds do not look/behave like in reality it is a bug. Such a visually appealing simulation should not have this kind of simple issue (I think).
NeilWillis Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 It was announced long ago that clouds are getting attention. There was even a prototype on the forum to try, though it was very heavy on system resources. A bug is only a bug if it is not a deliberate design feature, or compromise due to technological limitations. As has been stated, this is a throwback to early days in DCS World, and although it needs attention, it is definitely not a bug that you need to bring to anyone's attention. A simple search will bring up loads of postings on the topic, and that is where any issue should be researched first. Don't take this as a dig however, but just some advice for your next problem. I would expect the cloud issue will get more attention when milestones such as the release of 2.5 have been reached. DCS World is a progression of developments, and each issue will eventually reach the top of the list and get worked on. Miracles take time.

LOL A lot of things may not behave as in Real live, but not everything of that is a bug The thing is, that's the way how the current engine handles and renders the clouds Just wait for 2.5
