F5 vs F15

Hi guys, and gals...

I have a question.

i have been fooling around in the mission editor, and set up some fun in a F5 vs F15C guns only fight, with the F5 being red, and F15 blue.

I was inspired by the maple flag missions, but would like to build my own.

The question I have is, is there any way I can get some liveries for the F5 when i set it up as Russian? i only get the default grey which sucks! I would ideally like to make the F5 look like the aggressor or the mig 28 paint?:pilotfly:

Yes, click on it and open the weapon tab on the right

 

Then down right, choose the liveries you want

Hi Razo, thanks for the reply, but no, If i select the F5 to be Russian then there is nothing in the drop down, so the liveries are nationality depended it seems.

Then take it as the US one

 

Russia didn't had one so no Skin for it, unless someone made fictional Skins

sigh, it seems you dont understand what im asking.

I know russia didnt use them, but in order to set up the mission I want I have to make it that they are russian (RED) so that the AI F15 will engage me, or is there another way to do it?

I just really dont want to use the default F5 grey in the mission.

Click new mission and set US as RED or blue and the other country you want the F-15 to be as the other coalition

 

Then put on the Tiger the MiG-28 or Aggressor skin

 

Also, you could just set the F-15 as another, enemy country

There is a way to do this. In the description LUA of skin at bottom of page you simply add whatever country you want. This is what Mig 28 shows.

countries = {

"USA","AUSAF"

}

 

I believe adding ,"RUS", should do it.

 

EDIT- A little trickier than I thought but did it. First go to Description LUA and right click on it. Go to properties then security. Click on edit and highlight Users then click full control and apply. Then open Description and add ,"RUS", to description after "USA","AUSAF". It should look like this.

Try using the USAF Aggressors country instead of Russia.

I got the same question.

I like to use the F5 as aggressor against a blue F14.

But I cannot find usaf aggressor country in mission editor.

Obviously I am doing something wrong...

you might have to click on "new mission" in editor. then you will get a screen, where you can choose which countries are available in the mission and to which faction they belong.

select usaf aggressors form neutral and put it to red coalition.

 

haven't tsted it, but should work that way:)
