(No bug) Mapping Functions

I can't seem to map functions to my Warthog.

 

I want to use the paddle switch for brakes but it won't map. I also want to map the machine guns to the first trigger detent and the cannons to the second but I can't. Also, the engine RPM won't map to the throttle slider.

 

Anyone know why this is?

Neither of my Warthog throttles wanted to map, but they eventually did after moving them a couple of times through full ranges. Deleting crapload of stock, duplicated assignments seemed to help too. Paddle switch works for brakes allright. Haven't tried trigger detents, though.

 

Sometimes DCS is just picky about registering inputs.

I tried to map my paddle to the brakes but couldn't... until I realized I was trying while in axis commands. Doh! :doh:

 

I could map the paddle to brakes when I went to the right section. :thumbup:

Thanks guys, I managed it in the end.

 

Sarge, I had the same problem for the brakes, but that wasn't the issue for the guns. I got it all working in the end :-)

 

Now to give the thing a blast :-)

I had to reboot twice before I could remap my warthog joystick, The throttle unit worked 1st time. Sheesh, I thought my stick died.

Select Fire Cannons, press joy trigger until second stage, hold pressed, hit OK.

 

Select Fire Machine Guns, pres joy trigger until first stage, hit OK.

 

Try select the throttle slider be their name drop down menu, sometimes only by movement is trick to detect.
