How to make DCS sense the Thrustmaster TARGET virtual device buttons > 32 or a Button # List or something for Warthog HOTAS?

I want to assign the default DCS keys through the control panel.

Mixing Target definitions with default DCS works fine up to a point, target creates a combined virtual device, which is ok for the joystick, but with the DX > 32 definitions, the numbering of the throttle buttons becomes a problem, and cannot be seen in the windows Joystick device check.

In DCS I lose sensing the throttle buttons when reaching over BTN32 / the throttle Speedbrake buttons.

I can see in the DCS drop down the numbers go up to 64, but there is no sensing by DCS.

Do you see the DX buttons >32 in the game device control panel?

Windows 10 64bit, Intel i9-9900@5Ghz, 32 Gig RAM, MSI RTX 3080 TI, 2 TB SSD, 43" 2160p@1440p monitor.

Hello,

Did you try and manually set the button ID even though it did not sense it? Are you sure buttons that high are assigned to be an analog output in your TM config?

Controllers can have 128 buttons in Windows.

Also, when I can't get DCS to sense a button or axis, I note I am sitting in an airplane. If I exit the plane, then use the main UI control editor, it will then sense the buttons. Not sure if it will be the same for you, just throwing it out there to try.

not working

I now use Target to assign my Buttons >32, but I find this somewhat of a disappointment, the TMWH is specifically made for DCS, why is Target so quirked?.
