Ikarus screen size

 

Ikarus is a great program. I have adjusted a few to fit my second monitor. I want to replace my second monitor so i wont need to resize.

Am I correct that any 1920 x 1080 screen, will allow the Ikarus to fit without any size adjustments needed? Also interested in opinions on best touchscreen (for Ikarus), around 15 inch size. Appreciate any input, thank you.

The cockpits we create are optimal for the resolution of 1920x1080. You can change it yourself. Go to the editormode and change what you want. The size, the position. That's your job, though.

In my case, I glued the MFCD on my 2e screen,

I feel it more realistic and more fun

but it is a bit anoying when using the 2e screen for someting else

 

Small strips of self adhesive velcro do the trick for me. 20mm by 8mm, in my case. I do get times where a piece blocks what I'm trying to read, but at least the whole panel is not blocking the view.

I really wish DCS World had movable windows as I lose the bottom of many windows and have to close Ikarus cockpit.

The right one is more stable but the left holds well enough with only the velcro on the side.

Ignore that miscreant cable, it's tucked out of the way when in use.

If anybody tries this, I suggest the hook goes to the screen and the softer loop side is stuck to the panels.

I use very thin double sided tape, there is no gaps between the MFDs and monitor and it's very sticky :)

Also I have a couple gauges that are not working like the MW press in the 109 (190 works) and both O2 press gauges in the 190 and 190 any ideas? By the way great software who ever did that it's awesome! :)
