flyingscotsman
Having a problem getting the engine started, following Chucks guide, and pumping the wobble pump, having primed 5 times, get about 20-30 presses on that pump, no light going off and will not start....apart from that, brilliant sim Any ideas:noexpression:
Krupi
Make sure you have the fuel cut off lever back i.e. set to idle. flyingscotsman
Hi Kupri, Ok double checked the levers in right position, pumped, quckly then slowly, must have done about 40, light still on, pressed the starters, advanced the lever, caught first time, Think I need a 'leccy' Electrician, will fill out an f700 hoho
Sokol1_br
If you forget "what if's" is: Set throttle 1'' open Propeller Pitch full forward (engine start, allow taxi and take-off with then in back) Fuel Cock ON Wobble Pump 11 times (or use Booster pump 3/4 seconds) - the Wobble need move all back before release. Primmer Ki-GASS 3/4 times (I use 2). Magnetos ON Press and hold start and coil switches Mixture lever forward. NeilWillis
Almost right - according to the start up video and the manual, priming pump BEFORE wobble pump, and the number of strokes for the primer depends on air temperature. At 20C it requires 3 strokes. And mixture lever forward when the engine catches.
