Vyrtuoz Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Tacview 0.85 is available! You can now export the flight log in XML format. This enables squadrons to do statistics. (Remember that missing information about air-ground unguided weapons are due to Lock-On. Tacview cannot guest theses data...) Obvious bugs are also fixed and vertical speed is now displayed in s/min or ft/min. You can find all explanations and links on the official web page: http://tacview.strasoftware.com Next version is not planned before long so I hope you'll enjoy this one! Vyrtuoz
504Goon Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Hurrah! Thanks a bunch! :) 504th CO http://www.vvs504.co.uk
JaNk0 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Hmm, can't seem to get the terrain to show... mountain etc...and one more thing...how do you get 3d view? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
zaelu Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 This powerful tool will enable you to record any flight... To review, analyze and understand what really happened! OK, I give up. I looked all over (but keep in mind I were glasses)... How do I do this? How do I record? The record button remains "greyed" as in deactivated no matter what although I put the files in the correct folder. Do I need to do something special? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
SuperKungFu Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 not really, if its the same as the old tacview, i need to upgrade soon- im still on .83. Just fly any mission, it is being recorded no matter what. Open tacview and find the file in your \Lock On\Temp folder, be sure you install it right. All the information you need is on the site. To the creators, Is there no way to show unguided weapons (bombs, rockets and fuel tanks), can this bug be fixed within Lock On (i know its not a problem with the ACMI) but can it be done? Vyrtuoz Posted October 30, 2006 Author Posted October 30, 2006 Improving LUA export capabilities I'm confident that would be pretty easy to do. It's up to ED team... (I already done requests by the past, but they never replied...) not really, if its the same as the old tacview, i need to upgrade soon- im still on .83. ED Team Chizh Posted October 31, 2006 ED Team Posted October 31, 2006 Hmm... We'll check our code with weapons. From the outset was given the opportunity tracks all weapons. SuperKungFu Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 very nice Chizh, keep making this sim the best ever [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vyrtuoz Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 Hi Chizh, Yes there is types defined for bomb, rockets, … But actually, only guided weapons are declared into LUA world-objects list. Hmm... We'll check our code with weapons. From the outset was given the opportunity tracks all weapons.
Solidburn Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Great work guy, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong that the compass isn't showing (I'm assuming that's what the square at the top right is supposed to be) also I can't see the terrain either....do 3-D settings have anything to do with that? "I know Not that which you have said, but if I had medication I would (Robin Williams)" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vyrtuoz Posted November 4, 2006 Author Posted November 4, 2006 Bad video driver If the compass is not properly displayed (typically a grey square) then this is a problem related to your OpenGL driver. (It means that you are running the old Microsoft software OpenGL renderer...) Notice that beta releases of Windows Vista may not offer proper hardware support for OpenGL. (This will be fine in the final release) Great work guy, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong that the compass isn't showing (I'm assuming that's what the square at the top right is supposed to be) also I can't see the terrain either....do 3-D settings have anything to do with that?
Solidburn Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I'll just stick with the .82 version. It doesn't show the compass either...but it does show terrain. And that'll do for now. It works ok for what I need so it'll do. Still an Excellent job "I know Not that which you have said, but if I had medication I would (Robin Williams)" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
