4c Hajduk Veljko Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Simple mathematics: By mid 80's there wasnt a proposal for EA's yet. Much less live examples all over the press and no one guessing it but you. ;)He, he, he … Now, we have text claiming existence of ARH and we have pictures showing ARH’s on Su-33. But your “simple mathematics” proves all that wrong. :no_sad: Thermaltake Kandalf LCS | Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R | Etasis ET750 (850W Max) | i7-920 OC to 4.0 GHz | Gigabyte HD5850 | OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 2000 | 2 X 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD in RAID 0 | ASUS VW266H 25.5" | LG Blue Ray 10X burner | TIR 5 | Saitek X-52 Pro | Logitech G930 | Saitek Pro flight rudder pedals | Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
GGTharos Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 He, he, he … Now, we have text claiming existence of ARH and we have pictures showing ARH’s on Su-33. But your “simple mathematics” proves all that wrong. :no_sad: Excuse me ... can you tell the difference between AIM-120A and AIM-120B by looking at'em? Did it ever occur to you that those control surfaces are removable? Have you ever seen sidewinders and sparrows carried on rails without maneuver fins? That's because they're captive training missiles. Has it not occured to you that Russians may do the same? Furthermore, we've even seen on movies where missiles are mounted on aircraft without control surfaces, which are installed later. I suggest you find better 'proof'. Pilotasso Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 He, he, he … Now, we have text claiming existence of ARH and we have pictures showing ARH’s on Su-33. But your “simple mathematics” proves all that wrong. :no_sad: Then we have a real problem. none of my books, not one lists the R-27EA as an operational weapon in any russian fighter. Every article of russian fighters I read are riddled with projects to update those fighters with the capability to carry the R-77 and never the R-27EA, but even those never materialized on the Su-33. Only the Su-27SM, Su-30XXX Su-32 can carry active radar missiles. R-27EA by all accounts I've seen was rejected in place of the R-77 for political, logistical and perfomance reasons. .
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Excuse me ... can you tell the difference between AIM-120A and AIM-120B by looking at'em? No. That’s why I asked for EA missile photograph. I got it now. And I can say the difference between ER and EA missile now. Did it ever occur to you that those control surfaces are removable? No. However, wings are removable as well aren’t they? BTW, canards on those missiles are not movable, therefore they are not control surfaces, right? Have you ever seen sidewinders and sparrows carried on rails without maneuver fins? That's because they're captive training missiles. Has it not occured to you that Russians may do the same? No. He, he, he … However, I do have a photograph that shows both ER (or R) and EA missile on the same airplane. I suggest you find better 'proof'.I got text and pictures from a world renown professional writer about Russian airplanes. There are pictures all over the internet. I will continue to collect “proofs” … :pilotfly: Thermaltake Kandalf LCS | Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R | Etasis ET750 (850W Max) | i7-920 OC to 4.0 GHz | Gigabyte HD5850 | OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 2000 | 2 X 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD in RAID 0 | ASUS VW266H 25.5" | LG Blue Ray 10X burner | TIR 5 | Saitek X-52 Pro | Logitech G930 | Saitek Pro flight rudder pedals | Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
504Goon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Just found very, very interesting new material of the R-27 (propably datalinked IR) variant.. this will change the way of A2A combat!! http://roecompany.com/albums/systems/r27.jpg http://www.sigristhomes.com/images/Rocklin/r27/bath-R27.JPG 504th CO http://www.vvs504.co.uk

D-Scythe Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 The same reason why Batman continues his crusade against crime in Gotham.
ViperEagle Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Because ED's parents were killed by the Joker?

D-Scythe Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Because ED's parents were killed by the Joker? I coulda sworn Bruce Wayne's parents were killed by some no-name mugger... Psychosis? Nah, that's Joker, not Batman.
ViperEagle Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Sorry, I guess I havent quite gotten used to the reimagined Batman Begins world.
hitman Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Remember kids...Wolvie pwns the Batman. http://www.leconcombre.com/serials/comics/img11/batman-aaargh.jpg Lets see him take this big boy out.
D-Scythe Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Batman can go toe-to-toe with the strongest metas in the world. Hulk is nothing compared to Superman, Martian Manhunter and the every bust-ascious Wonder Woman. Wolverine is just an over-hyped, under-achieving hairball glorified by the media because he's "badass."

hitman Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 D's just mad cuz Wolvie spanked Batman in ratings AND has more ninja/samurai skills than baby Bruce. Wolvie also sports the bling better too.:megalol:
504Goon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 OMG! A perfectly sensible and informative thread just turned into this in a matter of few hours..!! ;) 504th CO http://www.vvs504.co.uk
D-Scythe Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 D's just mad cuz Wolvie spanked Batman in ratings AND has more ninja/samurai skills than baby Bruce. Wolvie also sports the bling better too.:megalol: Haha, well, when Wolverine goes head-to-head against a guy who can move *planets*, then come talk to me. Otherwise, he's just a glory hog only popular with people who know nothing about him or comics in general
hitman Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Superman is one thing...but Batman is just a ghey vigilante detective sporting leather and a yellow belt.
504Goon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 There's one thing that's relating those two.. both wear their underwear over their pants, and not the way us non-superheroes do.. no one should trust a guy that is wearing his boxers over his normal pants. 504th CO http://www.vvs504.co.uk
S77th-GOYA Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I coulda sworn Bruce Wayne's parents were killed by some no-name mugger... Joe Chill. And depending on the version, Joe Chill became the Joker. Nah, that's Joker, not Batman. Guess again. Batman's a major psycho too. That's part of what makes him and his vigilante crusade so interesting.
reapersgrim Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I just read this whole entire thread over the course of several days and can only agree with one thing: the every bust-ascious Wonder Woman She's a hottie :megalol:
D-Scythe Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Guess again. Batman's a major psycho too. That's part of what makes him and his vigilante crusade so interesting. Touche.
reapersgrim Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Lynda Carter was (and is still) a hottie. I have a feeling most here do not know Linda Carter. But I will say my 5 year old son watches the latest cartoon incarnation of the Justice League and Womder Woman is a hottie 'Course my first crush was Jane Seymour on Battlestar Galactica (I was 10)
