Hi,

I am relatively new to DCS and totally new to AJS37. I would like to assign T0 T1 TV radar trigger functions to my 2 stage Warthog trigger. If I understood well, the AJS radar trigger is also a two stages trigger. How should I map the functions Inside the game in order to replicate the real trigger. There are three positions in real but I can assign only two functions, one at stage 1 and other at stage 2. Neutral position of the trigger can not be assigned but I can see there is two functions inside the game labelled "three stages button". Should I assign those two?

Thanks for help,

Best regards,

Pierre

You need at least have the T1 and TV assigned somewhere for easier handling.

T0 is also needed but not as important as T1/TV, but just make sure you don't accidentaly press T1 often or you will need the T0 often too. T1 on your first stage, TV on your second stage and T0 on a button or something else you can easily access

I've set my warthog up to the following which was in Chucks guide;

TO - Button 2 (Weapons release normally)

T1 - Fore finger button top right on joystick (A10 Mode switch)

TV - CMS Trigger whilst using the L,R,U and D for tracking for Radar and Mavs

hope this helps

T0 - fore Finger button on the stick = cancel the fix and boresight the mavs

T1 trigger first stage = slew Radar cursor and mav fiew

T2 trigger second stage = fix Radar and lock mav

Works best for me

I have been reading in the manual about this to try to understand how it works in the real aircraft. From what I have read I am under the impression that the trigger is in T0 when released and then T1 on the first detent and TV on the next.

If that is right then it should be able to map in TARGET to the trigger on the Warthog stick so it works exactly like that:

T1 on the first detent

TV on the second detent

T0 on release of the first detent

You would have to launch the maverick for example with another button and with the trigger pressed in the second detent because if you release it it will go back to T0 and go boresight. But as I said that is how I belive it works in the real thing but I may be wrong.

I havent tried it myself though because I just thought of it now and am at work :)

However I dont understand at all what the difference is in DCS between the ordinary T0,T1, TV inputs and the "Tree stages button" in options.
