try running w/ lower MSAA and Lower Textures, it's possible you are running out of VRAM.

What makes you think that?

I'm asking, because DCS keeps crashing randomly for me as well and I always suspected that running out of VRAM might be the cause for this. Is there any indicator in the logs or elsewhere that supports this?

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Lowered Textures, MSAA to x4 instead of x8 and preload to 96000 instead of 150000...

could not even take-off this time... crashed during engine startup

attached the crash logs...

Your system is lower end so have a play around with the settings, and make sure your pagefile is set to system managed.

Looks like the display driver is dropping out so I would go with a clean wipe of your display driver

( I use DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html )

and a fresh install of the latest NVIDIA driver http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

also recommend a cleanup and repair of DCS ( guide in my signature )

Thanks!

Did un-install/re-install my drivers using DDU and did a DCS Clean-up as suggested...

No luck... still crashing every time...

I do not understand, I was able to fly for hours without any problems, did not do any changes to my PC, OS, hardware/software, did not update DCS... same configuration I was able to fly with, not working at all anymore... what the ''bleep''... really frustrating...

so... since my display drivers are up-to-date, not corrupted, DCS is clean and I've lowered my graphics as much as possible (and tried with my original graphics config.) what are my options now? retire from flying?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

only having 8GB RAM and a GPU with only 2GB on a resolution of 3600x1080 might be putting the card under a lot of stress.

have you tested using one screen / lower resolution just to see if the same happens?

is the card getting hot maybe?

attach your dxdiag we may find some other things we can tweak
