ILS captures only at Mozdok?

It seems as if the Su-25T ILS system only captures at MozdoK. Is this correct?

I'm suspecting this is a bug?

This is true to both the HUD and the HSI, localizer and glideslope indication bars.

I believe that it only uses PRMG for "ILS", so normal ILS doesnt move the cross. I had a glance at the manual, but it hardly mentions the subject.

AFAIK, only russian military airfields have it, and only the following, at least the last time I checked:-

Mozdok, PRMG 22

Krymsk, PRMG 26

Maykop - Khanskaya, PRMG 36

Krasodor - Centre, PRMG 38

If you have the L-39, you will also be using the same system. If not, it might still be worth taking a look at Chucks excellent guide, because it has lots of info on PRMG, and related navigation issues:-

Thank you Mkiii,

No, the Su-25T manual did not mention anything about a PRMG system, and to be honest I've not studied the Su-25"A" manual yet.

Don't think I have tried those airfields yet with the Su-25T, so I'll give them a try on my next flight night!

Likely at the very least a couple of weeks away as my schedule looks now...

I can confirm that the ILS does not work on the Su-25T at Batumi, Senaki-Kolkhi, Kobuleti and Kutaisi. All have them have ILS marked on the Mission Editor map and yes I came in from the right direction.

1.5.7 PRMG beacons are kind of porked. It is not the aircraft avionics. I've been able to fix a few of them but some will not work at all. I am guessing there might be a terrain issue that blocks the signal.

You may also note that the airfields with more than one PRMG share the same frequencies and Identifiers. That is incomplete coding bugs there.

Very interesting to read that ILS beacons are messed up too as well as PRMG.

As a very late update Solution, works as intended.

The Su-25T uses the PRMG system only.
AFAIK, only Russian military airfields have the PRMG system, and only the following, at least the last time I checked.

Krasodor - Centre, PRMG 38 - *Runway 09 Only
Krymsk, PRMG 26 - *Runway 04 Only
Maykop - Khanskaya, PRMG 36
Mozdok, PRMG 22
[*Must be the active runway!]

And of course as the Su-25T being a Flaming Cliffs type DCS module, one dose not select the
particular PRMG frequency, but only selects the landing sub-mode.

For additional info, PRMG notes here, and Russian PRMG & ILS Landings post.

The solution was already the first reply from @mkiii.
