dresoccer4 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 first off, really loving the campaign. just a joy to fly. my question is, how can i skip a mission? i've played a certain mission several times, and the most recent time I had all but beat it, but had to leave my computer right at the end. i know in my heart i have successfully completed the mission, so i'm ready to go onto the next one, but the game doesn't know that and wants me to play the same mission again, which i do not want to do. i know in the Museum Relic campaign (which if anyone hasn't played it, go get it right now its amazing) it gives you an option to auto-complete a mission at the beginning in case you needed to skip a mission. how can i do something similar here? i'm open to modifying the logbook.lua file as well, but I don't know the mission names so couldn't think of a way to change it. thanks all! John C Flett Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Dresoccer4, I believe it is possible to edit the campaign save but you can also open them as individual missions. Except for dynamic campaigns I stopped playing campaigns as campaigns a while back as I'd been hung up too many bugs which stopped progress. Given that there is no progress the only thing you'll lose by playing missions individually is a tally of completed campaigns in your log book.

Sryan Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 oh ok, interesting. where are the actual missions located so i can open them? C:\program files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS\mods\campaigns\<campaign name> You can also find out the .miz of the next mission here, and edit it into the logbook .lua so you can proceed with the campaign. gregzagk Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Nice  I didn't prefer to use a "skip mission" system but I know the feeling when you did everything right and had to abort it. Keep it up! Weltensegler Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 You can stay within the campaign in such a case and advance by modifying the logbook.lua https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2830501&postcount=181 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274
