Capt.LoneRanger Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 It's a bug. The gear is not rendered. Maybe a non-flyable made flyable? :D

VMFA117_Poko Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 We saw this couple weeks ago on this forum. It's a fake.
Pilotasso Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Russians attempt for their own stealth but they have only managed to make the gears disapear so far. :) .
mikoriad Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 There have been countless debates over this one on other forums over this past year. It's been proven to not be a fake. There are a few more shots of this and also a video floating around somewhere. It's just a very low pass at an airshow in China if I remember correctly. VMFA117_Poko Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Russians attempt for their own stealth but they have only managed to make the gears disapear so far. :) So they made a bigger progress than americans - their aicrafts disapear on the radar only :P.
MiGMadness Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 We saw this couple weeks ago on this forum. It's a fake. This pic (plus Second Pic Here) were discussed at great length earlier this year. It is a legit pic during an airshow. Anyways.... AFAIK Airliners.net do not allow photoshopped pics on their site. http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1025605&size=L&width=1000&height=685&sok=&photo_nr=&prev_id=&next_id=
Hellcat61 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Im not seeing the big deal. Demo jets do low passes all of the time. What's different about this one? "When you're out of Tomcats, you're out of fighters!"
Kusch Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 This is not fake. More pics: http://www.afwing.com/gallery/zjj/1.htm PS; Kwoczur is dressed on Polish Air Force jacked (overalls?) :) 1 Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 The first pic shows Anatolij Kvochur? I thought he's younger. Is it for sure the same man? About the Su fly-by. You convinst me. It is NOT a fake. I was mistaken - like many times in my life :P
Kusch Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 The same ;) Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
RvETito Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 The first pic shows Anatolij Kvochur? I thought he's younger. Is it for sure the same man? Who else could make such thing? The phographer must be the luckiest guy in the world to capture this. I was mistaken - like many times in my life :P Who doesn't?;) Speaking about low fly-by, here's another one- SEPECAT Jaguar: "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
SuperKungFu Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 yea its not a fake, i don't see how else to explain it. Its just a plane flying low. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Black_Hawk Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Erm, anyone noticed the refueling probe extended? 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
RvETito Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 yea its not a fake, i don't see how else to explain it. Its just a plane flying low. Sounds like you see such things every day;) It's not quiet routine for a supersonic 25-ton fighter to fly at altitude you could touch it by hand from the ground:) "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
Black_Hawk Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Or did they just happen to forget to put it back again after the simulated refueling? 159th GAR LockOnFiles CAW Team
Force_Feedback Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Or did they just happen to forget to put it back again after the simulated refueling? It also could be bacause the control movements become finer with the probe extenden, that's the way in lomac at least, and yes, I hate people that thing that if something is done in some way in lomac, it too is lik that in the real world, but hey, who knows?
