Issue was introduced in a 1.5.6 update. AI convoys will fall off the side of some of the larger bridges in the Sochi region and will sometimes fail to use the tunnel, instead driving over the top of it.

Attached you'll find a simple mission where a convoy of Russian armor and supply trucks begins at the city of Sochi and drives South to Sochi-Adler airbase. As they approach the third bridge crossing the vehicles "hang" off the side of the bridge by a tire then drop into the water.

Example mission was created from scratch in the latest stable DCS build. Issue persists in current OB.

Thanks!

A little shameless self-bump since this got buried so quickly. I have attached a second .miz file showing the convoy starting on the road immediately before the first problem bridge.

The convoy is unable to cross the bridge, and drives off the side, dangling comically by their two rear tires before dropping into the water. Reminds me of Lemmings....

Try this please.

Place a WP just BEFORE the bridge and another one just AFTER the bridge.

It is reported? I runned tests in 1.5.7.10872.388 and jumping off bridges problem is persistent with these 3 bridges. If I CombinedArms controlled the leader none of the other comvoy members can successfully drive throug the bridges as followers. Even if I set extra offroad waypoints after and before the bridges, AIs don't like the high bridges, instead they jumping down.

For me convoys successfully use the tunnel from each direction.

Grimes said he was reporting it to ED, but they have a lot on their plate at the moment.

The issue persists in the new Caucasus map as well, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a solution any time soon...better to just avoid the area for the time being.

And believe me, I understand that that is an irritating suggestion. I put about 40-50 hours into building an extremely intricate A-G op focused on a convoy driving through this area which got trashed literally 2 days after I finished it by this bug popping back up.

Nice that they're not driving on top of the tunnel any more at least.
