Hey guys,

I'm hoping at least some of you know about my youtube channel, most of you who frequent the various DCS discords, facebook, reddit channels have probably seen at least 1 post of mine. However, I wanted to create a more official source here for those that do not frequent those spots. Seems rather fitting to post updates to my channel in an area dedicated to Guides and Tutorials ;)

Anyway my youtube channel can be found here http://www.youtube.com/c/Jabbers

I post on various topics:

Tutorials (an ongoing list of tutorials mostly focused on BFM/ACM techniques)

Sorties (review or just highlights of prior sorties)

Just Goof'n (generally just funny things that occur on my stream)

(P)Reviews (what it sounds like)

and other various topics

Some of my most viewed content includes the following:

A new tutorial series I'm working on is an ACM & Formation series where I take real AF/Navy ACM tactics and formations and generalize them for the more casual DCS crowd.

The first in the series is on Section Takeoffs and can be found here

I'm hoping to continue the series with the following topics

Interval Takeoff (

)

Running Rendezvous (

)

CV Rendezvous (

)

Crossunders (

)

Overhead Break (

)

Parade Formation (

)

Cruise Formation (On the cutting room floor)

IMC Turn (On the cutting room floor)

VMC Turn (On the cutting room floor)

Overhead Brake (On the cutting room floor)

Combat Spread/Formation (On the cutting room floor)

Check Turns (TBD)

Shackles (TBD)

Cruise Turns (TBD)

TAC Turns (TBD)

Cross Turns (TBD)

Anyway, this is probably a great place to give me feedback, or suggestions for future topics.

Thanks!

Nice videos, just curious what you have been using as real life references? I am aware that the USAF and USN although similar, use different tactics and procedures as well as formations.

Training Document References:

Been using the above because I have a buddy who is currently in training, this is what he sent me. It's obviously Navy specific, but most stuff translates just fine. I'm also using this because it will translate 100% into carrier ops once we get the 14, 18 and AV-8B.

Also, the idea is that its "Generalized", don't really need to be 100% accurate, its a sim but its still a game to me. If someone wants to take it to the next level, by all means have at it. I just felt there was a larger majority of people who didn't want to go that far into it, but wanted some sort of knowledge on the subjects.

Jabbers did you make a tutorial on streaming? Now I have the processing power I would like to try again. The last attempt failed miserably:)
