No Moving Map in TAC when running 2.0

I have no map in the TAD in 2.0 while running the latest version. I have the waypoint lines, etc, but no moving map.

 

Is this my issue or a 2.0 issue? I did a repair, no nothing changed.

There is no moving map data for Normandy and Nevada I am not sure about but it may not have any either. IIRC, there are no plans to provide it for Normandy.

I am only referring to Nevada and in some Youtube videos that I watched on Red Flag for the A10c, a moving map was in the TAD. Was it taken out?

My last flight in Nevada was on Monday and there was definitely a moving map in the TAD. :thumbup:

 

I'm on the latest 2.1 version so I'm positive it's not broken as such.

 

Can you confirm you're not fully zoomed in (EXT1 or EXT2)? Even the old Caucasus map doesn't cover the whole area at max zoom levels.

 

Otherwise I'd disable all mods and try a DCS repair (and definitely check before re-enabling any mod).

 

Edit: D'oh, sorry, you said you already repaired, so that's not it. Anyway, do you run any mods? Definitely disable them all and try again.

The solution in your post seems to work. However, it seems to be a real pain in the neck to have to do that every time there is an update to 2.0 as just happened Friday. You would think that DCS would give a little more consideration to such an important module with its moving map.
