If you make textures for it and add a lower LOD, a hitbox and a damage state ( all different objects in the same file ), I can include them in my pack if you want. EvilBivol-1, I see you think in the same lines as I do :) Nice photo btw, I am already experimenting with "deep" trenches.

The Sentinel 3D mobile surveilance radar is used to transmit datalink data to avenger batteries as well as other SAM systems. It's basically a model of a back of a truck with a rotating antenna on it. Also, Chizh - is it possible to add this object and have it function properly? I think this was discussed before but I've just spent this afternoon fixing mine after I installed another mod which effected the previous one - I was then forced to choose which to keep and which to lose (I have no idea what to change or rewrite to keep both working) If so is there a way to make dual installations (two different mods using that file) to work together? The other mod I use is Walmis' F15 model which is updated regularly (and I'm hoping yours will be too :) no pressure though!) Thanks

Well if you mean whether the community could add such an object and get it working, then the answer would be no - obviously :) . Apart from the radar functionality itself,, you would need code to "call" the argument required to activate the rotating antenna animation of a 3D model. The only way would be to overwrite an existing entry with such a functionality :) . - JJ. JJ

Any takers for modeling the Sentinel? :) Well if MBot can't, I could probably do it if you can find me a few good pictures (side/front views if possible). I'd rather wait for MBot to respond first though, since it's his model pack and he could probably do a good job of it. If he doesn't want to, I'll be happy to. I'm currently working on getting familiar with exporting and importing to LOMAC for my ramp lights so I can shoot them over to MBot first, though.

Unfortunately the raytheon site doesn't have a whole lot of pictures of this set :( I was curious about it and looked it up. I found a few pictures on FAS site: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/sentinel.htm If that's what you're talking about I could probably model the radar unit itself, the truck hauling it would be a bit more work. Once I finish the lamps, I could try to model it, although I won't make any guarantees as to quality or completeness :P

I think we should look into using UNIX diff and patch utilities perhaps. Any comments? There have been a couple of meinit mods lately wich makes the installation process too difficult for most people to bother. But I have somehow expected limited interest in the mod. It is basicaly only interesting for mission makers, wich are not very many in this community, and even less downloading the missions. And the use of mods on servers has always been inpractical and limiting for the online crowd. But that doesn't realy matter, I have been doing this first and foremost for myselfe and I have fun with it :) Perhaps the new possibilitys of Modman 6 will make this easier to access for more people. foxbatd: Perhaps you want to try rapideshare.com. Many people seem to use it, altough I haven't tried it yet myselfe.
