Lao Fei Mao Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 (edited) Another noob question for help. I notice there are three little red "off" flag in the ADI, since we can't flip or tune any knob around the ADI like we did in KA-50 or A-10C, is there a keyboard press to ucage the ADI? razo+r Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 you need to be in Navigation or landing mode in order to "activate" it
Ironhand Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Ummm...he is in landing mode, isn't he? The F-15 isn't my usual ride but, if memory serves, those flags indicate that you haven't captured the ILS beams. They'll be removed once you pick up the ILS. I think you are correct, same goes for the hog when you are in ILS.
Crew Dog Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 He is in "landing mode" but hasn't caught the ILS beam yet. The crosshair in the HUD will direct him to home plate, and if the desired runway has ILS, the flags should disappear when on glideslope and within range FENRIR http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzO1zVdbcIJPsKXqYl3Vvaw No KC-10 in DCS?
