BritTorrent Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Hi Guys, I bought this module earlier today, and I've updated my DCS to the latest OpenBeta. But the module isn't appearing for download in the module manager. I'm not sure if there's anything I need to do? I have the Mi-8 Module downloaded and activated. The module is purchased and bound to my account, but it isn't showing in the manager. I'm a little stuck. Any ideas?
NeilWillis Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I have the same issue. Have you checked you are using the Beta release? I presume it isn't yet available in the release version?
Gizzy Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 This worked for me... Purchased from within 1.5xx BETA Module manager... 1.5xx BETA downloaded the UN430 module in the normal manner.. 1.5xx BETA Activation code requested as normal.. Check Options / Special section for UN430 - ensure Mi-8 ticked. There is no option for the L39. UN430 was present in game, Mi-8 NOT L39... In 1.5xx STABLE / RELEASE Checked Options / Special section for UN430 - Mi-8 ABD L39 were ticked by default. UN430 was present in game, Mi-8 AND L39C YMMV Hope it helps...
pj Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I have the same problem, the module is not showing up in the beta. Purchased through the store page, not the module manager. Blooddawn1942 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Same here :( Purchased through the e-shop, not the module manager. It´s not even showing up in the manager, whether as owned module nor as buyable. Outgunned, outnumbered, though never outclassed!!!
BritTorrent Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 Ok, I managed to resolve this issue by forcing the download outside of the module manager. Here's what you do; Go into your DCS World install folder, then go into the 'Bin' folder. Open up a command prompt here by typing 'cmd' (no quotation marks) in the address bar at the top of the screen and pressing enter. Once the command prompt is open, type the following command; dcs_updater.exe install NS430 Make sure you type NS430 in upper case, or it won't work. This will force the updater to download the module. From here you can just activate and run it as normal. Anyone who's having issues, give this a shot and it should resolve your problem. gospadin Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Note that if you force download on the stable branch, you'll be getting an older version of the NS430 than the one currently published as part of the beta. Just be aware of that if you're reporting a bug. My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
