1.5 Missions not working.

Hi all.

Since the last update when i click on mission they wont load, it just stays on the loading screen.

Help please :helpsmilie:

Thanks BIGNEWY I've sorted it out. Just deleted 1.5 folder in saved games (backed it up first for input ect.) and it's working fine now. Again thanks for the quick reply.

Try this quick fix:

Go to your Saved Games and delete the MissionEditor/settings.lua file. That should solve the issue.

And in case it still doesn't work, try this:

 

1. Go to C:\Users\***\Saved Games\
   
2. Rename "DCS" as "DCS_old"
   
3. Launch the game
   
4. Quit the game as soon as the main menu appears
   
5. Go back to C:\Users\***\Saved Games\
   
6. Copy-paste useful folders from "DCS_old" to the brand new "DCS" folder. Those folders you might want to copy-paste are:

Config

(your key mappings)

Missions

Mods

(if you use TacView)

Movies

(if you made some)

ScreenShots

Scripts

(if you use SimpleRadio, for instance)

Tracks

And that's all. It should work, now.

I had same problem and here is how I fixed it.

Go to DCS home website, Go to Support, Go to Technical Questions, Scroll down on left side of page to: "Mission/Campaign or Mission Editor Not working"

You are told to change the Name of Missions and Mission Editor using Windows.

I changed mine to Missions1 and Mission Editor1 and everything was as normal.
