After seeing that 10 minute video of the GR7 HUD footage someone posted a few days ago I tried to find the documentary it belonged to, but could only find short segments of it. So I have uploaded the whole thing here:

It actually has even more GR7 HUD footage, including some excellent clips of the NAVFLIR, Air refueling and even a live firing of a sidewinder. There is also some more unusual stuff like a look at the bizarre cockpit layout of the prototype fly-by-wire harrier (No throttle!).

I would highly recommend this if you want a sneak peak at what our harrier will be like given the similarities to the GR7.

Thanks, certainly bought back some memories. Love the the bit near the end where the commentator mentions the bird..

Zeus will we see the upside down arrows on the HUD for hot areas?

I am aware of them, but ED is the one who needs to create the hotspot detector in the first place. As soon as it is ready, we will include the "v".
