SUNTSAG Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 So what am I referring to.....well let me start by saying that I am a mission builder for the group I fly with therefore MP functionality of certain elements within the ME are extremely important in creating realistic scenarios. I have been looking forward to the new ME features currently available in NTTR so I recently reinstalled the map. I also reinstalled 2.1 in preparation for the 2.5 release at some point. With 2.5 on the horizon I was hoping the core ME elements for MP would be available now in 2.1 with only the eye candy of 2.5 being worked upon. I tested a mini mission I put together in the hope that some of the core elements missing in MP for 1.5 were now available. The elements I am referring to are, clients being able to hear and receive radio transmissions from units and the same if a radio transmission zone is created. I also added a destruction zone and a shelling zone and tested them all together in a MP environment. The results are as follows: Shelling Zone= Host can see the shelling but the client sees nothing. Destruction Zone= Host can see the destruction but the client sees nothing. Radio Transmission Zone= Host can hear the Morse code and see the navigation guidance in the Huey Cockpit but the client hears and sees nothing. Unit Radio Transmission= Host can see and hear the message but the client sees and hears nothing. Whilst I am not averse to enjoying the eye candy elements in the forthcoming map updates I personally would prefer core MP ME functionality on a par with that enjoyed in the SP environment and to this end I would appreciate any feedback as to when and if this will ever happen in 2.5? So in conclusion and IMHO eye candy is always welcome but what is under the bonnet (hood for our state side brethren) should not be neglected. Many thanks. SUNTSAG Posted November 16, 2017 Author Posted November 16, 2017 Bump Is there a response to this question please from the original post: I personally would prefer core MP ME functionality on a par with that enjoyed in the SP environment and to this end I would appreciate any feedback as to when and if this will ever happen in 2.5? Grimes Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Radio transmission stuff is likely known. Shelling and destruction zones are likely new bugs since both are relatively new to the sim. SUNTSAG Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 Hi Grimes, Thank you for taking the time to post but that doesn't answer my question. I am not really sure why this is proving so difficult to get a response to if I'm honest. Callsign: NAKED My YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Thanks for the reply BN, Hopefully with the lack of updates we should get some big ones soon? Updates have been far and few between of late.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 18, 2017 ED Team Posted November 18, 2017 No problem. I don't think it is that bad, we have had two updates already this month so far, Without saying to much due to my NDA I will say testing is going well, and the ED team have been working hard, so hopefully we will see some more soon.
