Is not only the visor but many parts of the plane...I thinks it's related to the "texture triengles" bug...if you look at the external fuel tanks you will notice how the round marks with rivets also have texture glitches and change as you move the camera...

And the animation is quite fast too

Talked to the Coder to slow it down.

Those black triangles have nothing to do with textures. They are simply a vertice issue in the 3d model, ED is changing engine and now this little anomalies are seen. Those are already been addressed and committed.

With regards to the actual usage of the visor in VR I don''t know and I am sure someone else from the team can answer that.

We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh

Is there a way to get the visor to look a little more like glass, e.g., more glossy and reflective? Thanks.

Yeah, you are right, don't know why I said "textures" there, sorry.

Yes, that's a little issue with some planes, most lack speculars for pilot, helmet, etc. It would be great if those are implemented for the M2000 :)

Any chance to make it working in VR too?

It works in the Harrier, so shouldn't be too much trouble fixing it for the Mirage :-)

i've made this but the result is not very good:

the only way to do that "correctly" is by adding a specular map...anyway, your texture doesn't look bad to me mate :)

thank you watermanpcsmile.gif

If someone knows how to make a specular map for the helmet and the visor,

I would like to learn that.

Thanks

As far as I know, there must be a material for it in 3DS Max OR, creating one using RoughMet...sadly after messing a lot with RoughMet I think I will wait until it's the default specular system for DCS before doing anything else.

cheers!

With Oculus Rift CV1, visor works fine in 1.5 open beta, but in 2.1 open alpha it's a transparent, dark rectangle floating in the air when using the visor from pilot view. It looks like maybe a texture sizing issue.

...affirm.

(I tried it in 2.1 only before and thought it is like the same in 1.5, but never tried it in 1.5. Thanks for advice - indeed it is working in 1.5).

Hi Razbam team.

Best wish for 2018 to you and your family.

Please could you change the helmet visor look in 1st person view?

Thanks
