Just mapped all flight controls the same and was working fine. Was able to move engine throttle to idle position for startup. Unleashed parking brake and throttle moves forward but no thrust is applied..

Are you even light enough to do a VTOL?

Do you even want to do a VTOL? check nozzles...

Clean armament profile. Weight not an issue. Engine will not throttle past idle..

We need a track file to be able to diagnose this.

I am moving this thread to the bugs & problems subforum.

I will work on that. Was in multiplayer and game crashes when exiting..

Hi Yoda,

For throttle control and RPM governance you need to make sure DECS switch is on (above fuel handle), alternatively emergency mode of fuel control and RPM governance is through MFS switch next to throttle, without that the throttle can not provide fuel control or RPM governing and you will be stuck at idle RPM.

Still to do is issue with starting the engine without DECS on should give issues as fuel governing will not be properly maintained and risk damaging engine during start.

That's it..

Good to know! Just have to add that to my pre-flight startup procedure. Thanks!

Wasn't an issue on Beta

That's correct and my fault on that, did not mention added more proper logic for DECS and MFS behavior in latest update, so you are right you wouldn't have needed to mess with the switch in the previous update since it was more or less hardcoded to ON, sorry about that Yoda.
All good.. Unfamiliar with this bird..

I am also assuming there is another process with APU that will be added later and obviously INS align..

I am having this issue as well in the cold and dark instant action mission in Nevada.....throttle will not move. And I do have DECS enabled. It is not a problem in the other instant action missions where the Harrier is already running, so it must have something to do with the startup sequence? Can we maybe get a step by step startup checklist?

Did you release the parking brake?

I can't get to it without moving the throttle out of the way! LOL

The DECS switch is on top of the fuel cut off lever, over your left shoulder. The big yellow lever. I found out the GEN problem was because I had the throttle cut off pulled up. Oops. Got a few quick flights in now. She sure is squirrely at low speed or in a hover!
