A10Yoda Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Just mapped all flight controls the same and was working fine. Was able to move engine throttle to idle position for startup. Unleashed parking brake and throttle moves forward but no thrust is applied.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

A10Yoda Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 Are you even light enough to do a VTOL? Do you even want to do a VTOL? check nozzles...Clean armament profile. Weight not an issue. Engine will not throttle past idle.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

A10Yoda Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 Hi Yoda, For throttle control and RPM governance you need to make sure DECS switch is on (above fuel handle), alternatively emergency mode of fuel control and RPM governance is through MFS switch next to throttle, without that the throttle can not provide fuel control or RPM governing and you will be stuck at idle RPM. Still to do is issue with starting the engine without DECS on should give issues as fuel governing will not be properly maintained and risk damaging engine during start. That's it.. Good to know! Just have to add that to my pre-flight startup procedure. Thanks! Wasn't an issue on Beta Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
A10Yoda Posted December 8, 2017 Author Posted December 8, 2017 That's correct and my fault on that, did not mention added more proper logic for DECS and MFS behavior in latest update, so you are right you wouldn't have needed to mess with the switch in the previous update since it was more or less hardcoded to ON, sorry about that Yoda. All good.. Unfamiliar with this bird.. I am also assuming there is another process with APU that will be added later and obviously INS align.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Pac-Man Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I was able to get passed this by unlocking and re-locking the throttle cutoff. Default key is RWin+T if i'm not mistaken. Forgive me if I am. :) Hope it helped. Mad Dog 7.62 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I am having this issue as well in the cold and dark instant action mission in Nevada.....throttle will not move. And I do have DECS enabled. It is not a problem in the other instant action missions where the Harrier is already running, so it must have something to do with the startup sequence? Can we maybe get a step by step startup checklist? Mad Dog 7.62 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I can't get to it without moving the throttle out of the way! LOL [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Gigabyte GA97XSLI Core i7 4790 @ 4.0 Ghz MSI GTX 1080ti 32 Mb RAM DDR3-2133 512GB SSD for DCS HP Reverb VR HMD Thrustmaster Warthog & MFG Crosswind
Mad Dog 7.62 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 OK, found the parking break....now after a few minutes though I get a Master Warning on the generator.....can't figure out why? Saltat_cum_mortem Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 OK, found the parking break....now after a few minutes though I get a Master Warning on the generator.....can't figure out why?RPM's are probably too low. I get the same thing, at least every once in a while. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Mad Dog 7.62 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 The DECS switch is on top of the fuel cut off lever, over your left shoulder. The big yellow lever. I found out the GEN problem was because I had the throttle cut off pulled up. Oops. Got a few quick flights in now. She sure is squirrely at low speed or in a hover!
