Mad Dog 7.62 Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Still very early in learning the Harrier, today I tried to work with the DMT and had nothing but issues. I have my TDC / Sensor Select controls mapped to my Warthog, but the sim seemed very finicky about recognizing the inputs. I would have to try several times to get the DMT to come up, then it would refuse to ground stabilize most of the time. Using TDC No Action to change the slew rate was iffy, as was getting the FLIR up. Just seems like the sensors are all messed up. Haven't tried the TGP yet. Kelevra9987 Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 On my end the DMT/TGP/MAV Sensors slew rather perfect, no issues yet. Can we get a track file to see the steps you are doing? Zarma Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 No problem here also. Working perfectly. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Virpil AH64 collective, TPR rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC, Alain Dufour's TEDAC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074
splash Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 No problems with DMT. it is slow in the beginning, but if you keep moving it, it is faster.
Zarma Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 You TDC action down to move faster. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Virpil AH64 collective, TPR rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC, Alain Dufour's TEDAC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074
enigma6584 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 These videos may help. Helped me quite a bit understanding how the sensors work with the weapons. Takes a bit of practice in order to relearn from how A-10C works. You'll get it.
gunterlund21 Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) cant seem to key map sensor left and foward. The options are in red on the key controls. I cleared the bindings and they still remain red. Edited December 15, 2017 by gunterlund21 I was in Art of the Kill D#@ it!!!!
Webbie Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Been having this problem in the past month....any fixes for this? cant seem to key map sensor left and foward. The options are in red on the key controls. I cleared the bindings and they still remain red.
Knives Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 On your C: driver go to C:\Users\{your_usrname}\saved games\{dcs world or openbeta} You will find a folder contains the key binds settings for each aircraft. Delete the one for AV-8B controls settings. And see if that helps. And sorry for not giving more details for the file location. I'm telling you from memory. Sent from my E6833 using Tapatalk
Webbie Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 That's what i normally been doing, but after playing about an hr it creeps back up and i have to do it all over again. Knives Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 That's what i normally been doing, but after playing about an hr it creeps back up and i have to do it all over again. Then I highly suspect your HOTAS device driver. Try to update it, clear all bindings by deleting the controls config file. Then test it again.
