MiG21bisFishbedL Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I do agree there should be a better prop trainer and in-depth flight training. I also agree that the current Tf-51D and SU-25T may not be the best airplanes to start with for a newcomer to DCS. I don't know if I agree with the first point, but there's not any arguing that the Su-25T and TF-51D are pretty ill-suited for newcomers. L-29, my dudes. A free L-29 would be pretty great. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
Evoman Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Don’t forget the t-38 The T-38 would be considered an advanced trainer. This tread is to discuss trainers at the Elementary to Basic level which are piston prop and turbo prop trainers. Plus the T-38 is very similar to the F-5 Tiger that is already in DCS. DCS already has a fair amount of advanced trainers like the L-39, C-101 and Hawk T.1.
