Since new EGT limit implementation this campaign is NO good. It was planned with the old system and now a lot of missions require too much torque and engine fails.

 

Can someone correct this please? :cry:

Take mission 3 for example... you start with rockets a machine guns and you have sling load 500kg!! LOL

 

The engine explodes after 2 minutes.

 

I bought the campaign and not only I cant play it normally due to crash in mission 1 but also cant play it through mission editor because of lack of tunning after implementing the EGT limit!

Yes, it is basically an amateur campaign. Not even one mission accounts for fuel weight or anything. :(

Please solve this Greg. It´s such a great campaign beside this "little" problems.

Possibly "only" reduce some fuel /cargo and/or extend the timeframes a bit..?

Made changes that will be available in the next update.

Didn't manage to make extensive testing but it should solve many issues.

I've added a request into the Wishlist for a Huey "Special" option to enable a workaround for the missions.

i think Greg was waiting to see if belsimtek changes the EGT model again.

 

as no one thinks its final as it is.

 

but we definitely need a workaround for the campaign as it is.

My Rig: AM5 7950X, 32GB DDR5 6000, M2 SSD, EVGA 1080 Superclocked, Warthog Throttle and Stick, MFG Crosswinds, Oculus Rift.

Agreed that revisiting the accuracy of the modelled EGH is appropriate.

Just conscious that it may take "some time" to do that and update the model in DCS. The workaround is hopefully a VERY simple update that could be added with minimal effort.
