I need stronger landing gear on the F15, gear that doesn't collapse at the slightest positive landing. :weight_lift:

What is your speed on touchdown and what is your loadout fuel included... My hypothesis off the bat is that you land it too heavy and too fast.

They are right. The landing gear strength is modeled correctly.

What you need is proper landing technique - you can search the forums, there's plenty said about it :D

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

If landing gear strength is a problem, I think you're going to love Hornet ;)

Oh yea... and then be horrified once he encounters his first planing-link failure during landing

There have only been a few failures of the trailing link on the F18, but MD is working on a fix.

<<Engineers at McDonnell Douglas, which has accepted responsibility for correcting the problem, are working on a prototype replacement part that would be stronger than the current one. >>

Will the one we get have the upgraded gear?
