myHelljumper Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Mig-29 has a SFM. No DCS jet with a PFM can roll out of dirt. Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
D4n Posted January 17, 2018 Author Posted January 17, 2018 Ah wow that's bad :P Hope 2.5 will fix it! Thx 4 the reply. Drag80 Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) Its nota bug. A fully loaded aircraft has a lot of wheel loading. In reality it will also get stuck very easily in dirt and grass. U can calculate the surface area of the tyres in contact with the ground and divide the weight. U will get ur answer. If a fully loaded Mig 29 can roll out or dirt, then that sure is a bug. lemoen Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 IRL you’ll be disciplined for getting the jet stuck in dirt. I suggest creating a mission for practicing your taxiing skills. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
myHelljumper Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 There is nothing to fix, if you roll your 8 to 14 (or 16!!) ton plane on unprepared dirt you will get stuck not matter what you do. Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA
NeilWillis Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 There is a simple fix - stay on the black stuff, and off the green. There's nothing to fix, the verges are soft and aircraft tyres are not made for off road. You cannot compare the MiG-29 to the M2000c as it is based on very simplified modelling.
