Hello, everyone! I thought this would be the right place to post this, because I have several unrelated questions. Here they are, not necessarily listed in order of importance:

1-I have FC3 with 1.5 Steam, and Su-27 with 2.2 Standalone. If, when I get 2.5 Standalone, I install both FC3 and Su-27, will the Su-27 icon/wallpaper stay, or will it disappear like the other FC3 aircraft icons?

2-Which aircraft use the AIM-9X Sidewinder and the Kh-41 "Sunburn"? I looked at all the likely candidates, and none of them had either available.

3-Is it possible to post multiple signature pictures?

Thanks in advance!

2) The upcoming Hornet will use the AIM-9X. Currently, afaik, there is no aircraft in the game that uses the AIM-9X, even though the weapon itself is in the game.

The AI Hornet is older than the missile. It's probably going to be upgraded when the flyable F-18 comes out.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

If you install FC3, all segregate modules as Su-27 has been installed, not need install the Su-27 after install FC-3.

The Kh-41 Sunburn never reach operational status (the pics on internet was only Mock ups) and the Su-33 never was launch capability. Old capabilities on LOMAC was invented (as all ground attack guided ammunition) and later (DCS World) deprecated and disappear.

I know, but if installing the Su-27 as well as FC3 will keep at least its icon, and therefore wallpaper and theme, I'm willing to take the extra download time and computer space. Besides, I like having everything I own installed.

@FlankerMan, if you have FC3 it'll overwrite the Su-27 and any modules from the pack, and you'll be left with only the FC icon, you can however edit the enty.lua for the Su-27 here: E:\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha\Mods\aircraft\Su-27,

or F-15, A-10A, Su-25A, Su-33, and MiG-29 whenever that gets it's own parking space :D

find the lines below: (between line 19 & 22 in notepad++) change Disabled form true to false and you have the Su-27 Icon & background available again,

this will get overwritten at updates though so make a OvGME of the entry.lua and activate & deactivate as required

rules =

{

["Flaming Cliffs by Eagle Dynamics"] = { required = false , disabled = false }

},

you mean like a slide show of module background images?

I think there was a lua edit that done that or had a random module image each time you returned to main menu,

will take some digging to find again

No, I'll try to explain better. When I go to User CP, and select 'Edit Signature', and then add a picture, I can only ever have one. If I add another, then it will replace, not complement, the one I already have. I would like to find a way around this, but if it's impossible, then I'll just be content with using boring old words...

By the way, have you ever had trouble with the F-15C swerving a lot without your command on takeoff? It's my bane, I just can't get the thing off the ground. Any ideas?

ahhh!!! similar to mine below, I just edit a .jpg and copy & pasted all the module images into one large .jpgs, you might be able to find some pre made

regular ms paint will do, right click on a .jpg or .png and select edit should open it in paint, then just size a canvas and cut and paste images to it. or if you want to be fancier try Gimp it's a freeware photoshop type program

Okay, how do I combine pictures? I've saved the cover images of my modules, and I can edit them, but I don't have (and don't intend to get) any special program, just what comes with the computer. Again, can I combine them, so that the signature editor will allow me to have all, but with just one actual picture?

Very easy with Paint 3D.

Open program and select New .

Select Stickers.

Go to add sticker to locate your pics and place them

Select Canvas to then crop image to fit
