john9001 Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Get a wireless keyboard and mouse, nice to move it where you want without having more wires to deal with.
Barefoot Bandit Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Get a wireless keyboard and mouse, nice to move it where you want without having more wires to deal with. Wireless and backlit tends to be a hard combination to get a good one of, for some reason. Z...
Lixma 06 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Get a chiclet one - when you're flying it's a thousand times easier to hit a control, enter chat, or shitpost without accidentally hitting adjacent keys.
Madmatt_BFC Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 I recently replaced my trusty Logitech G510 with a Corsair K70 LUX RGB keyboard. The feel of the mechanical keys is amazing. It's simply a joy to type on. I liked it so much that I also bought a Corsair Strafe keyboard for my second gaming rig with the new Silent Cherry switches. Typing again feels amazing but its a little more quiet with less "klackity klack" of the keypresses. I've been really enjoying all the customizations possible with the LED features and have been experimenting with different color layouts depending on the planes I fly. They aren't cheap keyboards, but IMO worth every penny. The only thing I miss is the dedicated LCD panel on my old 510. I used to display various system details on that (CPU temp, GPU, temp, GPU speed, Framerate etc..) using ATI Afterburner but I just moved those settings to a toggleable in-game overlay which works almost as well. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/k70-lux-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-red-na http://www.corsair.com/en-us/strafe-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-silent Madmatt A-10C, AV-8B, F-16C, F/A-18C, KA-50, Mi-8, UH-1H, FC3, CA, WWII, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf Gaming Rig: I7 7700k @5GHz, Corsair H115i Water Cooling, 32GB G.Skill TridentZ RGB 3600MHz DDR4 SDRAM, Aorus GeForce GTX 1080Ti, 2 x Samsung 960 Pro M.2 1TB NVMe SSD's, Warthog HOTAS w/ Slew mod, MFG Crosswind Pedals, 2 x TM Cougar MFD's, Oculus Rift-S, TrackIR 5, Asus ROG PG3480 34" GSync Monitor @3440x1440-100Hz, Asus 27" Monitor @1920x1080-144Hz, Windows 10 x64
