Probable bug? Voice overs missing in Training for MiG-21, F-5E and maybe others

Hi guys,

 

I seem to remember that in 1.5.8 the MiG-21 training missions had a voice over. Quite a funny one too :thumbup: In 2.5 he has gone AWOL, or at least very quiet :cry: Same for the F-5E flight instructor. Is this perhaps some compatibility bug with 2.5?

 

The A-10C flight instructor did not lose his voice! :smartass:

Hi Shurem, I'm afraid you seem to remember things wrong :D. MiG-21 never had voice overs (only text displayed in top right corner). I don't own F-5 or UH-1, but I'd guess the same applies to them - because none of remaining Belsimtek modules have voice overs (and that's because apparently there are no fluent English speakers in BST studio at all).

huh. well darn. well they are well written. I must have remembered a bored instructor voice with a thick Russian accent just from how I read it then lol.

There is no voice over in the F-5, but the UH-1 does have it. Having said that, it has always been a disappointment with the Huey that there are only 2 training missions - start up and weapons.

Always put me off using it more, as I feel that for novices to the world of helis, it would be really useful to have some basic flight lessons. Reading manuals and watching videos is no substitute at times.

Pity that the nice theory about no English speaker at BST has been proven wrong!
