Crazy amount of smoke from rockets in 2.5

There is a crazy amount of smoke produced when firing the rockets. So much, that I am blinded for a few seconds. That surely can't be right!

This probably is due to the new graphic engine of DCS 2.5.

 

But as you can see in the posted video this is not unusual.

 

There are extra smokeless rockets if the pilot is supposed to see something, like the RB-05A (pilot controllable). Or for missiles against aircraft to make spotting more difficult.

I can confirm that the smoke is pretty dense:

 

 

On the other hand you are not supposed to fly into it, you are supposed to pull after the release. The smoke trail is pretty small, you are quickly above it after a slight pull.

Fair enough, I take your point. Still, it's pretty intense, and the cockpit is still not right. Look at the ADI.

The smoke density seems fine to me, but the color of the smoke seems to have changed with 2.5. It seem too bright now, compared to the real thing. I think it was darker in 1.5:

Same goes for MG-s. Try firing the MG-s in an F5E or a 109.

On a side note, after looking at various videos, the smoke should be black, not white. Looks like it was in 1.5.
