Did some digging and there is a “Windows 10 lite” out there for download. Basically an install that’s stripped of all the BS. I might have my new system built tomorrow and if so I’ll probably buy a windows 10 for the product key then try that install. So many processes running that I don’t need

The comments below are funny.

"Mode as it should have been from beginning" is my favourite.

Honestly, it may redude some stutter and jitter, whatever, make it more focussed on the ONE task is a good thing.

My experience = stay away from those builds. It is only trouble, for almost zero gains.

Indeed !

If you do not understand what has been changed and/or taken away you might end up bitching like this "my printer no work, my backups dont go, my blabla doesnt as it should.." kinda thing.

A mode can be switched ON & OFF, a Build is a Build.

I am not even sure if that is legal or supported, like does it update as it should, will all drivers work or prompt you for missing parts and dll's. etc.

Too many ?, better stay away unless you are willing to take it all, the good & the bad.

I hate how bloated and how many services windows 10 has. Even though i disables Cortana it’s there pulling resources. This machine is going to basically be for DCS only so I don’t need nor want any of the fluff. I’ll toy with it and see what I think but I’ve read several responses where people have really liked it.
