Yeah it's a bit untidy at the moment and I think it's a worse since the last update for 2.5 however after DCS settles down it seems to be okay. I'm sure this is being worked on. ;)

Agree.

 

That was there in v1.5.8 too.

If server is a little crowd or too much units in it, you're forced to wait for a few minutes and then FPS comes normal range.

While the textures and terrain are loading you will see lower frames.

 

If you wait they will eventually settle, but it needs to load the textures first.

 

This should become quicker once the memory issue has been sorted, and ED have optimised some more.

Probably could have just told you this on Discord Daniel, but if you press Ctrl+Pause twice it will give you all the details. Wait for the timer (displayed in seconds) to count smoothly, then you know everything is loaded. Sadly it does take some time, more depending on how much the server has going on with targets, etc. it seems.

Yea, I follow the timer, too.

 

But... Everything looks OK and fluent, and then you want to act to slide the list or enter a slot, AGAIN it freezes for seconds or minutes.

it takes a long time even on very fast server and clients. but once it's done its over (per server connection only, not each slot). If you enter an aircraft the single FPS is more noticeable. It's usually a minute with our group.
