Hello everyone

In case someone is interested, I tell you about the setting I made (attached two

File in PNG format about the convenience of selecting DS with ON and HDR with OFFf versus DS with OFF and HDR with ON ..

In my case for the same mission (take off from Nellis AFB and flying over Las Vegas) I have whithout DS about 45 fps and whith DS on 20 fps in the cockpit view

My PC is in I7 at 4.6 GHz with 24 Gb of Ram and my graphics card is a GTX 970 with 4 Gb.

I hope it helps in this issue of better performance, DS On or HDR ON ???.

Bye

The results without DS on my 1080TI are way better as well...however the trees look terrible and the general look of the ground objects is washed out! DS is not the way forward for VR, this is for sure as performance is poor. We need better frames and need Vulcan implementation soon...I will certainly put on hold any more module purchases until I can see some betterment. Sorry but I cannot fly on my monitor...not anymore!!:-)

Man you asking a lot out of that 970! i have a similar rig (in signature) and even at 1080p and settings not quite pushed as high as you have it, I still struggle to maintain 60 fps in high populated areas. Lowering your res would help gain fps.

Indeed, more maps, more modules, all beta, I do not buy anything anymore unless stable + a few patches. Through 2.5 I have enough beta to deal with for my personal liking.

I honestly dislike the "early access" approach, for many reasons.

Times change and people buy promises, dreams and what not else, like on the stock market.
