Hi Community,

 

I am not able to find this information so perhaps you can help me, even better maybe this is interesting for some of you as well.

 

Some time ago I read there was Kuznetsov overhaul in progress. I am not sure why, but I linked that to 2.5 release.

 

Was this project dumped? Perhaps ED can share a one-liner whether this is still in the works?

The new Kutnesow (and the CVN-60 carrier module) was show by ED on some videos previously on the last weeks and year.

Actually, ED has not show new info about the carrier module progress (not only a "overhaul"), the community has actually waiting some update.

ED are not ready to share new info yet on the carriers, but I am sure we will hear more in the future, closer to public release.

I thought I remeber Wags saying somewhere that the new carriers will come out sometime after the Hornet's early access release. Whether that's 6 months or a year after wasn't specified. I'd be surprised if we don't see at least an early access carrier release sometime in the late fall/early winter.
