SU-33 Authorisation crash

My first login, DCS will have a S/N for Su-33 - but i have it under FC3!

No DCS World crashed, when i try the 'Instant Action' Recovery Mission or place a Su-33 in the mission editor.

 

 

 

i skip the registration and get the three day warning

 

 

follow the crash on the briefing screen for the mission

 

 

same problem in the mission editor.

what if you try to insert fc3 serial number?

Please remove any unofficial modifications ( if any )

 

And then run a cleanup and repair

 

let us know if you see any difference.

I got the same pop up asking for authorization.

I simply input my FC3 key and I'm able to fly it ingame.

Just noticed that it asks for the key everytime you start DCS, that's a tad inconvenient.

At least there's the grace period if you've entered the key once.

No, not working on my side, like El Bastardo wrote, i can use my S/N from FC3, but after the next start of DCS World, it asks again.

 

i did

- Cleanup

- repair

- delete (aka rename) ..\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\..

 

but still got a crash

First time I entered the key and the next time I clicked skip instead, the logs are named accordingly.

Procedure used for the logs:

• Started DCS
  
• Entered FC3 key/Skipped entry
  
• Instant Action FC3 SU33
  
• Confirmed working both times
  
• Quit -> Close -> Exit

I have similar problem but without a crash and can fly it no problem. I remember first time Su-33 got PFM upgrade I installed differently because I wanted to have the manual, so although I have FC3 the Su-33 has its own folder I guess.

I'll try inserting FC3 key into it when I get back home today.

After todays hotfix the crashes for Su-27/33 are fixed but i still have to activate F-15c and Su-33 modules on every DCS launch.

also ensure you have no unofficial modifications and have run a cleanup and repair

Same problem like Marduk879. It ask for the S/N for Su-33, and i can use the FC3 - but need to add it on every start. Su-33 Instant Action mission works.

 

i) delete ..\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta

ii) cleanup

iii) repair

I made exactly the same process as mwd2.

1) Remove DCS folder in saved games

2) Clean DCS install

3) Repair DCS install

4) Launch DCS

5) Logged in

6) Skipped the authorization for F-15C and Su-33

 

When i got into main menu i exited. DCS log attached.

I also attached DCS log 2 which is log when i authorize the modules with the FC3 key.

The authorization gets done but after next launch it asks again. Is the server like not storing that ive bound those modules to my account already?

If you have FC3 on your account you should not be using the separate aircraft.

 

have you purchased individual aircraft and FC3?

 

remove the individual aircraft from the module manager and just use FC3, does it help?

I must have installed the Su-33 last year, to get access to the manual, because the manual was not added to the FC3 installation in the first update for the PFM.

Yes it seems if you have the individual ones installed but have FC3 it is creating problems, especially if you do not own the individual ones

Yup, I just removed the Su-33 from module manager and the problem with authenticating is gone. Su-33 is flyable under FC3 no problem.
