Guys, how is the French movie 'Sky Knights'? Is it another Top Gun?

Yep, just ignore the bad story and cheesy lines, good photography if sometimes in fast forward (cute babes as well! :D ).

Mirror wars has about 5 mins of aviation fotography, and the reast is just all boring chit chat between badly interpreted characters.

This fake - the biggest disappointment of admirers of films of genre TOP GUN. The only thing that it is possible to look is 5-6 minutes of pilotage Su-30/35 and old man MacDowell. End. On items:

1. The budget - more than 10 million $. It is spent for the salary to foreign actors and a feast with them. Where still to spend - I do not know.:drunk:

2. In film of superself-years of mark "Su" it is named "SuXX" - that reminds?:smilewink:

3. Russian pilots - monsters, after flights have gone to a taiga to hunt on the Amur tigers brought in " the Red book " as a disappearing kind of animals. For as have been subjected to bombardment by defenders of animals (and CIA). One pilot have killed - have rescueed one tiger.:D

4. Refuelling of confidential self-summer made from Il-78 at height of 1500-2000 meters, and not above Russia, and somewhere in Central Asia. For what fuel transport has been brought down from hand anti-airplane missile.:gun_rifle:

5. Self-years it is equipped by a confidential power-plant - for 5 minutes reaches from the Himalayas Moscow.:surprise:

6... Everything, forces are not present more to describe this delirium. Look clips LockOn - much more fascinatingly is better.:smilewink: :pilotfly:

Excuse, English I understand through a word - I use the translator. The original in Russian below.

I just got this on DVD from Blockbuster. I have to say it will be the first film I have purchased from them. It was a great look at the Russian military hardware. The Su-35s were gorgeous. There are two painted with different blue/white camo and one a tan/desert camo. Also there was a black Su47 rolling for a brief shot. The flight scenes were very well done. I really enjoyed how the story ended up having Sabretooth dogfighting F-15s. Watching Mirror Wars On the same bigscreen that I fly Lock On with was like watching a Lock On movie!

Some reasons alone worth buying this film so mabye we will see a sequel:

1. Great scene of the Su35 and an Su25 sitting on the tarmac together at sunrise.

2. Seeing Su35 break the speed of sound over the tent of a hot american brunette.

3. Seeing boobs of hot brunette.

4. Seeing air assault with a desert camo Hind launching rockets and Russian Special Forces.

5. Seeing a Cobra manuver in the '35 while out turning an American missile.

Seen it too, well, all I can say that it's almost such crap as Les Chevailliers du ciel, aka void of a story, Steven Segall style. Only difference is that they did not speed up the air footage, which is a big plus as it looks less gay that way. The Su-35UB was awesome, and the ejection in that movie, and the flying scene without canopy and no rear seat was REAL footage as well, no CGI. That is the most awesome thing in that movie, a real ejection seat firing (stationary, but made to look like in flight) and convertible flying action, which is badass as hell, considering that the Su-35UB is a test bed for avionics (means that they can stand the outside air :P).

Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
