Egr temp troubles

Was the egr troubles addressed in the release version I was having trouble taking off in nv in free flight mission after the egr update. Is it better now or the same?

Once I learned the parameters of the EGR everything was ok. I could take off, fly, hover and all of that with no problems.

But....I still cannot take off with a full load without engine failure so it's still overly stated. I'm positive that there are a lot of guys here that have mastered full flight with it in it's current state but I do not fly the Huey all of the time.

But I think that most will agree that is overly stated and too sensitive. The whole catastrophic engine failure issue keeps coming up with users and I completely agree that it needs to be altered. ED has said that they are still looking into it.

This last "Update isn't an update at all. It's just a statement. There is no update.

^ can even takeoff over maximum weight in Nevada. It is a bit scary though. Where is that fire extinguisher again?

And to hopefully answer your actual question, no I don't believe there was an update, only the current beta got released as stable. They are currently identical.

Belsimtek said they need their engine engineers for the 18. Once that gets released we can expect an update for the Huey.

I flew last night before my control physically broke and it was better i was careful with the collective ill fly here later after i run some errands using my tm hotas and see if i can handle it with that until my controls are repaired.
