I usually try to lurk and comment every once in awhile, but it really pisses me off when somebody says "look in the manual" For chrissake just tell him/her what the key command is, no matter how simple. It's called looking out for the nuggets. Besides this is one of the best, somewhat mature communities online, and just telling him to look in the manual is just plain rude. Nuggets learn from those who just answer the most (sometimes) stupid question and treating them like they're retards doesn't train anybody right.

Ya, I think typing "Ctrl - W and Ctrl - R" has less letteres than "please look in the friggin manual"

But seriousally, be nice. you were a newbie too i assume and I also assume you asked "dumb" questions thenn too.

jeez... I thought this was a friendly community... usually it is.

Hmmm,

I didn't mean to sound rude. I was just telling him there's a lot of info in there in case he didn't know.

I am also new to this sim but the first thing I am doing is reading the manual. I know I will not stand a chance not knowing anything if I go play online so I'd rather learn first and save myself some frustration.

I'm sure it is very to easy to tell a new guy the commands right away but I'm sure it will be a different story if he teamkills you in a public server.

I believe the more knowledge you have. The more fun you will have with this sim. Oh well I didn't mean to offend anyone.

I'm still a newbie and to tell you the truth. The only question I will ask is if I can't find something in the manual (if you call that a dumb question). Now you sure sound friendly yourself :)

Ok, sorry, i got a little mad. I was on your side though. :-) My point was, insteas of being a jurk, people shoud just be nice and give the key combo or wat ever they want instead of the "look in the manual" cr@p.

Can't see how he will teamkill when he re-arms/refuels. To be honest yes read the manual but don`t go too deep. Get online with teamspeak and people will be more than happy to help. Well we will in the 169th anyway. Infact post a time (GMT) and date and I`ll gladly help you.

Hi Bat,

What I meant by 'teamkill' in the server is that he may know how to re-arm and re-fuel but what happens if he doesn't know the radar systems.

How can he tell friend from foe without reading more in the manual. Unless of course he logs on teamspeak and a squad helps him.

Anyway I was just suggesting that there is a manual in case he didn't know.
